Monteveglio is the small comune ( 20km from Bologna) in the Italy. It’s a beautiful panoramic place that joins the history, the religion and the nature. The castle was founded probably in the early 6th century and in the medieval times enjoyed moments of great importance. Matilda Canossa of Tuscany (1046 –1115) the Great Countess founded the church Santa Maria Assunta at Monteveglio. A memorial tomb for Matilda, designed by Bernini, marks her burial place in St Peter’s Vatican and is often called the Honor and Glory of Italy.
