It is the private castle and accessible only from the outside. The Castle was a source of inspiration for Raffaello Garagnani who wrote the novel “The maiden of Zena” in 1846s. The story of the noble maiden Zenobia was here – from the Castle Tower she flew in the sky refused to be the wife of an unloved man .
