It is an Italian commune of about 1000 inhabitants. The first documented was in 1126. Dozza has a castle of the noble family Sforza of 1400 in excellent condition. There are some rooms and kitchens with utensils (which can be dated to 1500), fireplaces and pit. The rooms are still decorated with furniture; on the walls there are paintings and tapestries from the 18th century. You can also visit the sala delle armi, jails (with instruments of torture) and the terrible pose to razor. The building was owned by the family until 1960, when it was bought by the comune Dozza.
