Euphorbia from Madagascar
This species was only known fom the Bongolava Plateau, East of Manpikony. A new locality was found in the same area close to the Sofia river (NW Madagascar). It grows in white sands.This species has a main base woody stem, bark pale grey, erected branches, and a rosette of deciduous ovate leaves which are bright red at the base.
